Join us on a twilight exploration of Pasadena's Playhouse Village! Named for the Pasadena Playhouse, a renowned live theater venue since 1925, this area has been a cultural hub since the 1920s. It's full of art installations, murals, and architecture representing a wide range of styles and time periods. On this walking tour, you’ll learn about one of Pasadena's first Art Deco buildings, the first parking structure in the city, and Southern California's largest and oldest independent bookstore. We’ll talk about how the arts helped shape this district from its beginnings up to the present day and take a trip back in time to discover what the neighborhood looked like 100 years ago.
