About Pasadena Walking Tours
Pasadena Walking Tours was founded in 2017. We want to help both locals and visitors discover the treasures of our hometown. The tours have been created for guests to learn about the history, culture and architecture of the Crown City.
As of 2019, Pasadena Walking Tours has partnered with LA Walking Tours to increase the offering of tours within Southern California. With this exciting partnership, we can expand the outreach of more tours to new neighborhoods! We hope you'll join us for a tour with Pasadena Walking Tours and LA Walking Tours
Our Team
As a researcher, creator and presenter, Tom comes from a background of live productions, plays, documentary and feature films. Born in Detroit and raised in the suburbs, he majored in Performing Arts at Wayne State University, then studied with the Detroit Repertory Theater before moving west. After 2 years as a Universal Studios tour guide he was hired as a writer/producer for Nickelodeon TV’s “Mr. Wizard’s World”. He was then fortunate to work in both American and Natural history museums creating exhibits, and producing/directing tours, and award winning films.
Heather is a native of Los Angeles, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. But it wasn't until she ventured into the field of paranormal investigation that her thirst for the history of long familiar locales was ignited. Now, she spends much of her free time harnessing her curiosity and researching that which came before. While she loves the research, especially in places where residents still linger from eras bygone, nothing beats inspiring that same sense of curiosity in others which is why she always looks forward to guiding guests on tours of local history and the haunts that lurk within.
Jenny’s love of old buildings revealed itself early on when she developed a totally normal childhood obsession with ghost towns. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design, has previously volunteered as an LA Conservancy docent, and now resides in Pasadena Playhouse Village where she has been known to burst into spontaneous tours for friends and neighbors with a focus on historical remnants that might otherwise be overlooked. Other loves include dogs, making handmade ceramics, and old maps.
